Description

Set in 8000 square metres of olive grove this is a typical Italian villa with independent entrance. Built in the local stone, recently renovated with all modern amenities but with wooden beams and stone walls still visible. There are 2 double bedrooms, 2 children's bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite.

There are 2 fireplaces in the living areas and you will find wood for the winter months. a A fully-equipped modern kitchen includes a dishwasher. Outside you have a private patio area and parking plus a barbecue and pizza oven (to keep you busy!), garden with swings and a 9m- pool.

Perfect for families, but also for couples and those of you needing a break from the rat-race. Chickens, ducks and a beautiful donkey called Sofia also live on this land: all very well behaved but you must be animal-friendly!

Sleeps 9 but there is also an annex which sleeps another 5 guests which is available for an extra charge.

Situated in the Sabine hills, just north of Rome and with gorgeous views of olive groves and farm land, the area offers endless opportunities for walking and bike-riding off the beaten tourist track. The villa is in fact on the Via Francigena, the ancient route that led from Canterbury to Rome. There are also 2 fishing lakes and a sulphur- water bathing complex with beauty centre and tennis courts a short drive away. This property is also a wonderful base from which to visit the numerous hill-top towns Palombara Sabina, Nerola, typical Sabine towns with narrow streets and castles.
